Altered Context: page header

hello.

Picture it: Norwalk, CT, 1996. A woman on her early 20s first gets online with her 2400 baud modem and connects to AOL. Although it takes nearly an hour for a webpage to load, she is immediately eventually smitten. Fast forward 6 months, and now armed with a 28.8 bps modem, she is flying at the speed of molasses and decides to learn how to build websites. With a copy of Claris Homepage and Corel Draw she would stay up 'til the wee hours of the morning on weekends working on her personal web page. Over time, that hobby evolved into a passion and eventually a career. She began taking design classes and eventually earned a degree in graphic design.

Through the years, I've built websites for small, independent people up through large corporations. These days, I like to work with small businesses and help them by creating a site that's easy to use, and easy on the eyes for a fair price. Usability is tops in my book. I hate elements that serve no purpose except to be pretty and hog processor time (hello, Flash!).

Service is as important as talent to me. I will ALWAYS return your phone call or e-mail, listen to your needs, deliver what I say I will, and quote you a fair price. And I will NEVER make false promises.
